Tulbagh Lions Service Centre
The Tulbagh Lions Club Service Centre and Clubhouse can be rented by the general public for various events and gatherings. The venue can comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests.
The current rental fee is R3500.00 for a typical function, lasting approximately 6-8 hours. An additional refundable deposit of R1000.00 is required to confirm your booking and function date. If the function holder is planning on using the kitchen full-day for food preparation and catering, an additional kitchen usage fee of R500.00 will be applicable to cover electricity and gas expenses.
Please note that the hire fee is for the empty building with tables and chairs only, and does not cover cutlery, crockery, glassware, catering equipment, or service staff such as waiters, which will be the responsibility of the function holder. Other items such as decorations, flowers, alternative tableware, underplates, tablecloths, chair covers, etc. are not included and are also the responsibility of the function holder.
However, we have standard dinnerware and a list of hand-picked items available for hire at an additional fee.
It is important to mention that the venue does not possess a liquor license, so a cash bar facility cannot be provided.
